Completing Activities

An activity must be completed once the intended purpose of the activity has been completed.

Use the dropdowns below to learn the different ways to complete an activity.

To complete a Consult/Intervention Followup activity:

  1. From the Workbench, select the Activities dashboard tile.

  2. Highlight the activity.

  3. Select Complete. The Clinical Notes window appears.

  4. Enter any additional information, if required.

  5. Select OK.

The activity is marked as complete and the date it was completed displays in the Completed column.

Completing a COVID-19 Injection or COVID-19 Injection Follow-up does not process a COVID-19 vaccine prescription.

To complete a COVID-19 Injection or COVID-19 Injection Follow-up activity:

  1. From the Workbench, select the Activities dashboard tile.

  2. Highlight the activity.

  3. Select Complete.

The activity is marked as complete and the date it was completed displays in the Completed column.

To complete a Consult/Intervention Followup activity:

  1. From the Workbench, select the Activities dashboard tile.

  2. Highlight the activity.

  3. Select Complete. The Dialogue window appears.

  4. Enter any additional information, if required.

  5. Select OK.

The activity is marked as complete and the date it was completed displays in the Completed column.

This activity can be viewed from the patient's Clinical tab.

When a Medication Review activity, the Medication Review can be launched and completed directly from the Activities.

To launch and complete the Medication Review activity:

  1. From the Workbench, select the Activities dashboard tile.

  2. Highlight the activity.

  3. Select Complete. The Medication Review launches in Patient Centre to be complete.

  4. Complete the Medication Review as usual. For more information, click here.

The activity is marked as complete and the date it was completed displays in the Completed column.

This activity can be viewed from the patient's Clinical tab.

To complete a Birthday, Payment is Due or Phone Call activity:

  1. From the Workbench, select the Activities dashboard tile.

  2. Highlight the activity.

  3. Select Complete. A confirmation prompt displays.

  4. Select Yes.

The activity is marked as complete and the date it was completed displays in the Completed column.
